ASHTABULA — Karyn Parsons and David Childs are kindred spirts and brought their love of Black history to the city Friday to help raise money for the Hubbard House Underground Railroad Museum.
Parsons began her journey as a 6-year-old seeking to act, while Childs, a pastor’s son, came up through the inner city streets of Cincinnati. Both ended up with a passion to tell stories, especially within and around the Black community.
