CALGARY - Connor Bedard had a goal and three primary assists to move into a tie for the NHL scoring lead as the Chicago Blackhawks blanked the Calgary Flames 4-0 on Friday.

Tyler Bertuzzi, with a pair of goals, and Andre Burakovsky also scored for Chicago (7-5-3).

Coming off a season-high five-goal outburst in a win over Columbus on Wednesday, Calgary (4-10-2) returned to the scoring woes that have haunted the club most of the season.

The Flames, who were held to one or fewer goals for the sixth time, are the league’s lowest-scoring team at 2.19 goals per game. They also sit last in the NHL’s overall standings.
