SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Lake View Chiefs went into Friday night having one of the best season in school history.
The Chiefs hosted Andrews at home to close out the regular season, with a district title on the line against the defending district title winners from 2024.
The Chefs and Mustangs were tied 14 all before Andrews pulled away and wouldn't relinquish the lead back to the Northside.
Lake View with roughly three minutes to go pulled within seven but couldn't complete the comeback.
This Chiefs team averaged more than 40 ppg this season and scored a school record 76 points last week. They now face Lampasas next week in the bi-district round.
