CORBIN, Ky. (WYMT) - In the first round of the KHSAA Football Playoffs, Corbin blanked Russell County, winning 35-0.

The Redhounds came out of the gates on fire early on in the game, scoring on their first three drives against the Lakers.

Quarterback Mason Salmons rallied off 168 pass yards, connecting with Cam Estep twice for a touchdown and Tayton Cox for a score.

Corbin will host Lincoln County in the second round at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14.

The Redhounds have not lost a first round playoff game since 2012.
