India has reiterated its commitment to equitable and inclusive climate action based on the principles of equity and Common but Differentiated Responsibilities and Respective Capabilities (CBDR-RC) at the Leaders’ Summit of the UNFCCC COP30 being held in Belém, Brazil.
Delivering India’s National Statement on Friday, Ambassador of India to Brazil, Dinesh Bhatia, underlined the country’s climate action approach that aligns with national circumstances while contributing meaningfully to global efforts.
