GIDDINGS, Texas (KBTX) - Giddings season ends with disappointing performance plagued with turnovers, as they fall to Madisonville.

The Buffaloes gave up two early touchdowns via interceptions that were immediately converted into scoring drives. Madisonville’s Kedrick Moffett and Kyus Ford got an interception on Gidding’s first two offensive drives. A touchdown pass from Garrick Kovar to Tristan Whaley and a rushing touchdown from Jaden Simpson capped off both those interceptions. Another rushing touchdown from Madisonville’s Carmelo Gilbert dug the Buffaloes into a hole that was too deep to climb out of.

Giddings season ends with an 2-8 record.

Madisonville will head to the playoffs with a 5-5 record.
