At the time, the business woman said that a lack of nearby parking, chaos on Queens road with Uber drivers causing daily issues and a slump in footfall brought an end to the independent firm being based on the main road. The firm has since relocated to Alliance Close.

But the unit on Queens Road has stood empty for months - until now. A new licensing application has been submitted for 42-44 Queens Road. It is for a new business - LDV African Supermarket.
