Several illegal e-bikes have been seized in Coventry . Police led a major crackdown with Coventry City Council .

Officers from Coventry Police were joined by Coventry City Council and the Coventry Business Improvement District (BID). Together, they made several arrests and seized e-bikes which were being ridden illegally around Broadgate and Cross Cheaping.

Bikes were found to have breached the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). Authorities say efforts to tackle the issue are ongoing.

A spokesman for Coventry City Council said: “Residents have told us that antisocial behaviour in Coventry is their biggest concern, and it matters to us too. We want everyone who works, lives and spends time in our city to feel safe.
