Coventry City’s bid to finally get three points at Preston North End next month has been given a boost by the news that the Lilywhites’ big centre-forward Milutin Osmajic has been handed a nine match ban.
The Sky Blues have never won a league match at Deepdale and head to face the Lancashire club early next month when North End’s target man will be six games into his lengthy suspension spell on the sidelines.
So far this season the Montenegro international has scored four goals for Paul Heckingbottom’s side who have moved up to fourth in the Championship after three consecutive victories – against Sheffield United, Southampton and Swansea – and a draw at Millwall at the weekend.
