Nuneaton hospital has warned that 'significant disruption' could lie ahead as a five-day resident doctors strike looms. The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced strike action by resident doctors, formerly known as junior doctors, will start from 7am this Friday (November 14).

It is set to last until 7am on Wednesday, November. 19. While all other NHS staff will still be working, the George Eliot Hospital has shared a warning that it could lead to some appointments being cancelled. It has shared a message, which states: "While we will do our best to only cancel appointments where it is necessary, we know from previous strikes that there will be significant disruption to patient appointments as a result of the strikes.
