A teenger who violently raped and assaulted two girls has avoided jail.
Jesse Butler, 18, was arrested on March 4 after reports of assault by two secondary school students. Butler was 17 when he was handcuffed and was charged as an adult, but his status was then changed to youthful offender.
His vile offences include first-degree rape , domestic assault and battery by strangulation, attempted rape in the first degree and rape by instrumentation. Butler pleaded no contest to 11 counts against him.
He was facing 78 years in jail for the depraved crimes , but a judge has now let him go without any jail time. Instead, the judge, Susan C Worthington, simply ordered him to perform community service and go to counseling, local news channel KJRH repo
