A Jamaican man has given his verdict on Scotland's iconic soft drink, Irn-Bru , after tasting it for the first time. The fizzy orange beverage, produced by A.G. Barr since 1901, is a staple in many British households but remains an unknown quantity in many parts of the world. ‌

Sharing his experience on Reddit , the man wrote: "To the British this might be an exaggeration, but to a Jamaican trying this for the first time it was one of the nicest drinks I've ever tasted." ‌

However, eagle-eyed Scots pointed out that he had sampled the '1901' edition - A. G. Barr's original recipe version, not the regular Irn-Bru, reports Glasgow Live . ‌
