The 19-year-old blueliner — and blue-chip prospect — left Friday night’s 4-0 loss to the visiting Chicago Blackhawks after getting crushed into the Saddledome boards by Nick Foligno.
It was immediately obvious that something was wrong. Parekh was in discomfort and skated right to the bench, where cameras caught him grimacing as he touched his shoulder.
Parekh retreated to the locker-room moments later, and didn’t return.
“He’s going to miss a little bit of time. I don’t know the extent of it yet, but we’ll find out more tomorrow,” said Flames head coach Ryan Hus
