A woman from Bengaluru alleged that a Rapido bike taxi driver touched her inappropriately during a ride in the city’s central area on Thursday evening.

The incident, which reportedly took place on November 6, came to public attention after she shared a video and detailed her experience on Instagram. According to reports, her post prompted the Bengaluru City Police and Rapido to react. As of now, she has disabled comments on her public post.

The woman said she had booked a Rapido ride from Church Street to return to her paying guest accommodation when the driver allegedly touched her inappropriately while riding.
