Tarn Taran By-Poll: 72-hour ban imposed on public gatherings, campaign events

Tarn Taran (Punjab), November 8, 2025: Ahead of the by-election for Assembly Constituency 021-Tarn Taran, District Magistrate Rahul, IAS, has announced stringent restrictions to ensure free, fair, and peaceful polling in line with the Election Commission of India’s directives.

According to the official order, all public meetings, rallies, and protests related to the election will be banned from 6:00 PM on November 9 to 6:00 PM on November 11, 2025. The order also prohibits the entry and activities of voters or persons from outside the constituency during this period.
