Friday night in a CIF Southern Section Division 8 football game at Elsinore, that’s exactly what Patriot coach Chris Fowler did with his two stars en route to a 48-29 opening round win. Patriot, winners of 10 games for the first time since the school opened in 2007, will host No. 1 seed Palm Desert at Rubidoux High School next Friday.
“I like to say that we don’t have great athletes, but what we do have are great kids who are completely bought into the things we’re doing here,” Patriot coach Chris Fowler said. “Whenever we’re done, this senior class is going to be the group I point to going forward as the example of hard work that is the Warrior way.”
