Florida football faces another critical road test at Kentucky, one that will test the resolve of a team that's endured a disappointing season.

The Florida Gators (3-5, 2-3 SEC) are coming off a 24-20 loss to rival Georgia in Jacksonville in their first game under interim coach Billy Gonzales, who replaced the fired Billy Napier on Oct. 19.

The 54-year-old Gonzales has done his best to keep the spirits of his players up through the coaching change and uncertain future.

"Practice has been good last couple of days, it has been really, really good," Gonzales said. "Effort was awesome."
