Folks who know Colt Ford’s story know it’s pretty darned miraculous.

The guy died — twice — last year when he collapsed with a heart attack following a show. Obviously, he was brought back both times, and he has recovered to the point that he is back out there on the road touring.

And this week, while speaking with Taste of Country , he revealed something pretty out of this world about his near-death experience.

“There was a bell, it was a bright light and Toby stepped out and said, ‘They’re not ready for you yet Little Dog, go on back down there,’” Ford said. “That’s how I woke up. I literally just opened my eyes. I didn’t know what happened. I didn’t know anything had transpired.”
