PEQUOT LAKES — The Word and The Pulse radio stations invite donors to join in providing Christmas cheer to local senior citizens.

Through their Santas for Seniors program, The Word and The Pulse are collecting gifts and handwritten Christmas cards through November to bless residents in local elderly care facilities.

Due to family members living far away, some of these individuals might not receive much company during the Christmas season.

In addition to Christmas cards with handwritten notes, gift cards from Walmart, Target and Amazon, along with gifts from a dedicated Amazon wish list will be accepted.

The gifts will be distributed in December.
