PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles’ top three defensive tackles hurriedly dressed following the team’s Week 8 victory over the Giants at Lincoln Financial Field. A week off awaited the interior defensive line trio that is so vital to the defense, and they were all in a good mood.

Each had recorded a sack of quarterback Jaxson Dart and when Jalen Carter tried to compliment Jordan Davis and Moro Ojomo for their pass-rushing contributions to the victory, Davis playfully cut him off.

“You’ve only played six games,” Davis said, reminding Carter that he didn’t need the bye week as much as most of his teammates.
