Today’s highs will be in the low 40s throughout the area
Much cooler, winter-like air arrives Sunday and into the beginning of the work week
Gradual warming trend as the week goes on
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Hopefully everyone enjoyed the warmth yesterday because we are in for quite a dramatic change today. Madison saw a high of 61 degrees yesterday and after a cold front swept through the region last night, highs are only expected in the low 40s today. While this colder air is filtering into the region, a strong upper-level disturbance is moving through the western Dakotas this morning and will bring light rain to southern Wisconsin this afternoon.
As temperatures drop, this rain will gradually change to light snow by the evening hours. The rain and snow will spread across much of south
