A Midlands teacher has been banned from teaching after being found with alcohol at two different schools.
Michelle Stant was caught with a clear alcoholic liquid in a water bottle on one occasion, and an unopened miniature bottle of wine in her pocket on another, according to witnesses at a misconduct hearing.
Stant also drove to her job at Oakwood Community School, in Bagworth, near Coalville, Leicestershire, and crashed into the school gates, a misconduct report revealed.
Stant claimed she felt "lost" and "lightheaded" when she drove to work that day, but denied being under the influence of alcohol while driving.
She was also found to have concealed her employment at Oakwood when applying for a subsequent job.
