The Royal British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall and the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph are being covered live as part of the BBC's Remembrance Day programming in the U.K.. Originally established to commemorate the armistice, the First World War ceasefire that paved a path to peace, the ceremony also serves as a tribute to the victims of the Second World War, and 2025 marks 80 years since Victory in Europe Day.
