Wednesday was no dark night for Michigan football quarterback Bryce Underwood.

The freshman quarterback made an appearance as Batman – complete with mask, cape and all-black outfit – on Nov. 5, delivering a night to remember at the One Nine Superhero Ball thrown by C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.

Now the Wolverines are hoping his super skills show up again in the daytime. The 18-year-old has shown powers at times − ripping throws to the boundary, escaping what appear to be sure sacks from the pocket and using his legs to pick up first downs (16 of them, to be exact).
