A two-game losing streak is about as rare as it gets for Henderson State, but that's where it found itself ahead of last week's clash at Southeastern Oklahoma State.
Fortunately for the Reddies, Andrew Edwards and Cayden Davis made sure that skid didn't extend to three, and Coach Greg Holsworth is thankful for it. The two hooked up for a long touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter to help Henderson State earn a 21-20, come-from-behind win.
"They did a good job, especially defensively," Holsworth said of Southeastern Oklahoma State. "They made it hard for us to get much going, but eventually, we were able to hit a couple of things. Taylin (Paskel) had a good catch on a fourth down during the previous drive to get us within one score. It was huge.
