The opening night of the high school playoffs saw some wild finishes, with none more so than Jesuit edging past Tualatin in overtime in an 8-9 matchup in the Class 6A championship bracket.

We had Lakeridge senior Ansu Sanoe put on a career-defining performance in ousting Glencoe, while Grants Pass traveled north to defeat Pacific Conference champion Sherwood . Then, there were perennial powers West Linn , Lake Oswego and Central Catholic all cruising into the quarterfinals.
