Perth Glory interim coach Adam Griffiths believes a heavy few years are weighing on the mind of his squad, but is determined to ensure the dam wall bursts sooner rather than later.

After four games, Glory sit bottom of the ladder, a position which has become all too familiar to them as they head into the international break as one of two winless teams.

The back-to-back wooden spooners have not scored for in three games, with too much of the burden once again falling to captain and star marksman Adam Taggart.

Perth had more possession and shots on target in Friday night’s 1-0 loss to Central Coast Mariners at HBF Park, Griffiths’ second game in charge following the sacking of David Zdrilic.
