Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Saturday inspected the ongoing construction of the P.A. Sangma Integrated Sports Complex in Tura, reviewing the progress of key facilities including the indoor stadium and the indoor swimming pool.

During the inspection, he was accompanied by West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Vibhor Aggarwal and other officials.

The Chief Minister noted that the football stadium within the complex is already completed and operational, and said work on the remaining components is moving steadily.

“This section will house an indoor swimming pool as well as indoor badminton, basketball and volleyball courts. This will be a great blessing for the region and is also in preparation for the National Games in 2027,” Sangma said during the visit.
