One of Britain' biggest supermarkets has been forced to recall one of its most popular snack items. It comes after it was found that some bags could contain glass particles that could cause severe injuries to people. ‌

Lidl confirmed that it was opting to recall several bags of its cashew nuts that it had sold in recent weeks over fears glass could have made it into the product. As a result, the recall has been placed on an urgent priority. ‌
