Burlington Festival of Lights returns for its 30th year this month with an expanded program under the Burlington Lions Club.
The festival lights up Spencer Smith Park ( 1400 Lakeshore Rd. ) from 4 p.m. to midnight daily starting Nov. 28 until Jan. 8. There is no admission charge.
The Lions Club , marking its own 100th anniversary in 2025, takes over the annual downtown lakefront event with a goal of expanding into a “walking path” of events through the downtown in coming years.
A list of new indoor events hosted this year at the Lions Hall ( 471 Pearl St. ) in downtown Burlington is the start.
