PM Modi to visit Bhutan on Nov 11-12 November 08, 2025

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a state visit to Bhutan from 11-12 November 2025. The visit seeks to strengthen the special ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and is in keeping with the tradition of regular bilateral high-level exchanges, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a press release.

As per MEA, during the visit, the Prime Minister will receive an audience with His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan, and the two leaders will inaugurate the 1,020 MW Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project, developed jointly by the Government of India and the Royal Government of Bhutan.
