CLEVELAND, Ohio — University Circle police are inviting law enforcement officials, residents and local businesses to take part in a discussion on crime prevention.
The event, titled “The Regional Think Tank on Crime: How to Address It Now and in the Decade Ahead,” will run from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Dec. 8, at the Cleveland Sight Center, 1909 E. 101st St. in Cleveland.
The event aims to bring together law enforcement and other professionals to discuss both traditional and innovative approaches to crime prevention.
It is open to police officers, judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, security directors, teachers, principals and elected officials.
Scheduled speakers include Andy Wilson, the director of the Ohio Department of Public Safety and Cuyahoga County Sheriff Harold Pretel.
