BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Halloween Express partnered with the First Baptist Church Food Pantry to raise money for its annual donation event.
The organizations have worked together for several years, and this year they raised $5,000. Church leaders say this money will help families impacted by the halt in SNAP benefits.
The donations were accumulated from Oct. 26 through Oct. 31, and the food pantry says 440 families picked up food within the last week.
The two organizations hope to continue this partnership into the holiday season.
