New Delhi: Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas made her singing comeback with the desi version of ‘Last Christmas’ for Gurinder Chadha’s upcoming film ‘Christmas Karma.’

Ahead of the film’s November 14 release, the makers dropped Priyanka’s track, which has the same music as George Michael’s original Last Christmas, but with Hindi lyrics. ADVERTISEMENT

However, Priyanka’s desi twist in the original ‘Last Christmas’ failed to impress netizens, and they took to social media to troll her.

Under a viral Reddit thread featuring the song, one user wrote, “Butchering one of the most iconic Christmas songs ever. George Michael is rolling in his grave. 😭.”
