Week 11 brings a rivalry carrying two of the most storied programs in college football when things get underway at night. It also carries College Football Playoff implications for both teams, who have a shot at the 12-team field.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish (6-2), who are No. 10 in the rankings, have more or less been told that if they win out, they will make the field. They have the chance this week against the Navy Midshipmen (7-1) from Notre Dame Stadium.

The talent of Notre Dame's offense, specifically the ground game, which is led by running back Jeremiyah Love, is going to be a lot for Navy to handle. The Midshipmen gave up 197 rushing yards to North Texas' Caleb Hawkins. This matchup gets a lot tougher.

Add in that Navy has allowed at least 30 points in its last four games, and Notre Dame has the choice of which way it wants to attack.

Now, Navy's offense is no joke. They only scored 17 last week, but uncharacteristic turnovers and some fourth-down stops, which they usually convert, were minor plays from scoring 30 points. Blake Horvath will have to milk to clock, keep drives alive, and pull off some Midshipmen magic to win this one.
