JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. — A kitten that went missing after an animal rescue's transport van was involved in a crash in Jackson County on I-85 in October was safely located.
On October 13, Furkids Rescue's transport van was carrying 37 cats to a no-kill shelter in Vermont when it was involved in a rollover crash.
It happened after GSP officials say the driver of a semi-truck , 33-year-old Kane Aaron Hammock, hit the back of another vehicle that was occupied by a family of eight. The family in the vehicle sadly died . The collision created a chain reaction, hitting six other vehicles, including the Furkids van.
