UPS and FedEx are grounding their fleets of MD-11 planes "out of an abundance of caution."

That type of plane was the one that crashed this week at the UPS global aviation hub in Kentucky.

Fourteen people were killed, including the three pilots on the cargo plane that was headed for Honolulu.

UPS and FedEx announced late Friday that they were grounding their fleets of McDonnell Douglas MD-11 planes following the deadly crash in Kentucky this week.
