1Stabbing reported on Perry Place sparks 4th District alert as police seek masked suspect

Washington, DC — Friday — A man was stabbed in the 1400 block of Perry Place NW at about 10 a.m. Friday, and Metropolitan Police units in the 4th District are asking the public for help identifying a suspect captured on surveillance video.

Police say the incident occurred in the 1400 block of Perry Place NW and that the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officers described the suspect as a Black male, approximately 20 years old, wearing a ski mask, a royal blue jacket, and black pants; he was last seen traveling on foot. Detectives caution the public to take no action if they encounter the individual.
