KAMSACK — “Paint a haunted house” was the instruction provided by Dustin Wilson of Kamsack during an art class organized by the Kamsack Public Library and held at the Seniors’ Centre on Oct. 30.
“Whenever I teach an art class, we use acrylic paints,” Wilson said, explaining that the acrylic dries fast, the work can be easily fixed and clean-up is easier than with other mediums.
The fee that the students pay for the paint and canvas and the rest was donated to the library, Wilson explained.
On Oct. 30, students began work at about 6:30 p.m. and were done with their pieces by about 9 p.m.
Wilson said he hopes to organize another art class either by Christmas or it will be a winter scene.
