MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia’s first meeting with Colorado in 16 years and third in the series history comes at noon from Milan Puskar Stadium. TNT and TruTV will air the matchup, with the loser being assured of a losing season and thus eliminated from qualifying for a bowl game.
West Virginia (3-6, 1-5) can win consecutive games for the first time this season, while Colorado (3-6, 1-5) has also yet to achieve the feat, but enters having lost two straight by a combined score of 105-24.
A pair of true freshmen quarterbacks will lead their respective offenses with WVU’s Scotty Fox Jr. making his fourth straight start and Colorado’s Julian Lewis his first career start.
