STATE COLLEGE — For the first time in almost a month, Penn State returns to Beaver Stadium. Things look significantly different from the last home game, as James Franklin and Drew Allar are no longer leading the Nittany Lions.
But the challenge remains high as Penn State looks to snap a five-game losing streak.
The Nittany Lions (3-5, 0-5) take on No. 2 Indiana (9-0, 6-0) at noon on FOX.
The Hoosiers are led by second-year head coach Curt Cignetti, whose transfer-heavy approach has quickly turned Indiana into a national power. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza, completing 72.3% of his passes with 25 touchdowns to just four interceptions, is a legitimate Heisman Trophy candidate.
