Mumbai, Nov 8 (UNI) Panic briefly gripped passengers onboard a Shivshahi State Transport bus, travelling from Dadar to Pune Station, today evening when the bus had to be evacuated after smoke was detected emerging from its air-conditioning system near Matunga.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road, directly opposite Matunga Police Station, when the bus driver noticed smoke coming from the roof-mounted AC unit. Acting swiftly, he brought the vehicle to an immediate halt and ensured all passengers were safely escorted out.
