A 58-year-old man faces charges stemming from a drug bust in Steeltown last week.
Hamilton Police say Major Drugs and Gangs Unit officers executed three search warrants at a residence, storage locker and business as part of an ongoing drug investigation on Wednesday.
During the searches, investigators allegedly seized 2,336 grams of powdered cocaine, 671 grams of crack cocaine, 25 grams of a suspected cutting agent and an undisclosed amount of Canadian cash.
Christopher Hilts was taken into custody.
The Hamilton is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000 (currency).
Police say their officers remain “committed to disrupting drug trafficking activity within the community and holding those responsible accountable.”
