Harrison Mevis, who has by far the best nickname in the NFL at “The Thiccer Kicker”, will make his debut for the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
Despite never having played an NFL game, Harrison Mevis is a notable name among football fans due to his 245-pound frame. The Thiccer Kicker gets a chance to increase his popularity now that he’s finally on an NFL roster.
Per ESPN’s Sarah Barshop, Rams head coach Sean McVay announced that Mevis will be their kicker in Sunday’s road game against the San Francisco 49ers, replacing sophomore Joshua Karty.
McVay noted, however, that Karty is still on the roster and not “going anywhere.”
