Hestra Gloves, a family-owned Swedish company, has chosen Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall to be the location of its first-ever storefront in the United States.

Hestra is most well-known in the United States for its ski gloves. Founded in 1936 in the village of Hestra, Sweden, the family-owned company has spent nearly 90 years handcrafting high-quality gloves.

“This feels very good,” master glove cutter Niklas Magnusson said. “It’s one of our most beautiful stores so far, I think. I have a very good feeling about Boulder.”
