Election Commission of India (ECI) issued clarification over thousands of VVPAT slips found on roads near KSR college in Bihar’s Samastipur. As per the official statement, the slips were of mock polls, held before actual polling to check the working of EVM. Several videos of VVPAT slips lingering on roads went viral, triggering uproar in Bihar during elections.

Samastipur DM Roshan Kushwaha reached the spot to look into the matter. Taking action on the matter, the concerned ARO is suspended and a case is being filed.
