It's now an incredible 33 games without a win against New Zealand for Scotland as Gregor Townsend's team saw a second half comeback stopped in it's tracks by a late bit of brilliance.
The Scots were hoping it would be 33rd time lucky in the Autumn Series clash at Murrayfield but were thoroughly outclassed once again.
Converted first-half tries from Cam Roigard and Will Jordan as well as a penalty from Beauden Barrett had the visitors in a commanding lead at the half-time break.
But it was a different Scotland that emerged after the break, while three yellow cards for the Kiwis saw the momentum swing towards the hosts.
Ewan Ashman and Kyle Steyn both had tries converted by Finn Russell, who added a penalty on the hour mark to tie things up at 17-17.
