STARKE, Fla. — One person died Saturday after a small acrobatic plane practicing stunts crashed at Keystone Heights Airport in Bradford County, a Bradford County Fire Rescue spokesperson told First Coast News .

As a result of the crash, BCFR said a fire broke out. It has since been been extinguished.

The Bradford County Sheriff's Office asked drivers to avoid the area of State Road 100 South near the airport due to the incident.

Officials did not release the identity of the person killed in the crash.

According to the fire department and sheriff's office, the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have been notified about the incident and are investigating it.
