Big Bear’s famous bald eagle pair, Jackie and Shadow, are stirring excitement among wildlife watchers once again. The duo has been making regular visits to their towering lakeside nest, signaling that preparations for the upcoming breeding season may already be underway.

For months, the nest sat quiet after the successful fledging of eaglets Sunny and Gizmo in June . Now, repeated sightings of Jackie and Shadow returning to their home have sparked anticipation among thousands who tune in daily to the live nest cam operated by Friends of Big Bear Valley (FOBBV).
