Sports can be cruel sometimes. And Friday night in Bermuda Dunes was one of those times.

The Desert Christian Academy Conquerors had a perfect 10-0 regular season. They earned a home game in Division 12 against Arroyo Valley. The game was a tense, down-to-the-wire affair with a standing-room-only home crowd hanging on every play as their team moved in position to win the game as the final seconds ticked away.
